In the exhibit, children can care for pandas in the panda reserve, participate in a Chinese New Year celebration with a Chinese dragon, and explore a contemporary classroom while learning to write "thank you teacher" in Chinese characters on a touchscreen notepad in celebration of National Teacher’s Day. They can also explore a restaurant, neighborhood market, park and more. Children's China integrates the time-honored teachings of Confucius, China's great teacher, with a focus on the importance of education and family values.
Another cool feature of the Children's China Exhibit at The Magic House St. Louis is that visitors can prepare for the visit beforehand by downloading “The League of Extraordinary Bloggers” – an app developed for families would love to introduce Asian Cultures to their families in a content rich, age-appropriate way.
My family loved it!
