Join us at the Endangered Wolf Center for this two-hour field trip that will take you on an adventure into the world of wild canids. Students will join their very own docent tour guide in our classroom where they will spend about 30 minutes learning about the five species of predators we have at the Center and the important role these animals play in a healthy ecosystem. Students will then be given a passport booklet to bring with them on their hour-and-a-half-long walking tour of the animal enclosures. At each enclosure the students will observe the animals in a natural habitat, while they learn exciting facts about each species they visit. At the end of the program students will get a stamp in their passport booklet showing they visited the Center. They will be able to take the passport booklet home as a keepsake to remember their experience. This two-hour program is available Wednesday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., year round, except for April and May when the Endangered Wolf Center is closed for pups to be born. The capacity for this program is limitless, but groups over 35 will be split into smaller groups. Passport to Predators is great for all ages. The cost is only $8 per student, and 2 teachers are free. (less) ... Read more

People are talking about our SlumberCity overnights! Since 2007, lots of happy campers have spent the night at City Museum. Here's what a few of them have had to say about it. "We spent the night at the City Museum's family sleepover - What a blast! So many other children's venues leave me on the sidelines, chatting with the other parents or reading a book and passing the time. At City Museum, I am pulling my kids into different places, instead of the other way around. I was very impressed with the staff, as well. They seem to have the right mix of keeping order and providing help and direction without imposing themselves in a way that makes you feel unwelcome." "Being there over night gave us an intimate sense of the place that you might not get in the frenetic pace of the crowds during the day. We will be back!" The cost is $40.00 per person, child or adult. Program includes: * Pizza dinner buffet and a breakfast buffet * All-night access to City Museum, including MonstroCity, Enchanted Caves, Art City, and more! * Activities throughout the evening * A commemorative "SlumberCity" badge you can't get anyplace else! * Free parking Upcoming Dates: 01/14/2018 - Girl Scout Overnight 02/18/2018 - Family Overnight (Scouting groups are also welcome) Overnight dates for Summer 2018 will be announced March 1st, 2018.
